Our Programs

MISSION STATEMENT

To promote a wider understanding and appreciation of the United States Constitution and its principles, as envisioned by our founding fathers, through educational activities and programs.
Membership Information
The Constitution Commemoration Committee was founded in 1995 by citizens of Paradise Valley and Scottsdale, Arizona, to develop patriotic programs and events to promote greater understanding and appreciation of the United States Constitution.

The Committee's premier event is the annual Citizenship Day Celebration held on September 17th each year.  The program features local school and club performing groups, patriotic music by a military band, a mass display of flags and presentation of awards for a Poster Contest and a Constitution quiz.  Winners receive U. S. Savings Bonds or cash prizes with the grand prize winner receiving a trip to Washington, D.C.

As a non-profit organization, we depend on the support of our members.  Please consider joining the Constitution Commemoration Committee so that we can continue our programs for the benefit of our youth.
